Stevie was Adopted

My husband and I went to his sister's wedding in Tampa, FL, 3.5 hours northwest of Fort Lauderdale. We were able to camp out at Birds of Paradise Sanctuary and Rescue for a few days.

Friends from Facebook, located in Louisiana, drove over 9 hours to meet us there and pick up Stevie. They arrived at 5am, greeted all the birds at BOPS, and headed home that evening.

People like this exist and that's what counters some of the heartbreak in rescue. People care.
This is going above and beyond for this bird.

A home inspection was done via Skype. They will be joining Lulu the Green Cheek Conure, and Sweetie, a senegal also with a fuzzy belly.
